STUDENTS CAN HELP SAVE THEIR PEERS LIVES.
Did you know?
Seven out of ten young people would tell a friend if they are having thoughts of suicide. Research shows that peers have a greater impact as protective factors during adolescence than parents do.
This year, the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation has the honor and privilege of bringing the 1st ever Hope Squads, a suicide prevention program for young people, to Texas, and right here in Tarrant County. This ground-breaking program will change the culture of help-seeking within our schools.
