2020 Bring the Conversation to Light
The seventh annual Bring the Conversation to Light event in 2020 couldn’t have been more different than all the rest; because of Covid 19, the luncheon was virtual. The event was live and streamed on Zoom and FaceBook Live and was watched by hundreds of people. It was especially meaningful for this luncheon that we were able to reach so many people from out of the local area who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend. In addition, there was lots of interaction with the audience via Zoom and Facebook Live. My daughter and Jordan’s younger sister, Elisha, gave an emotional and heartfelt speech about her experience losing Jordan. Our Keynote Speaker was Terry Bentley Hill, suicide survivor and passionate advocate for suicide prevention.
