The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation was formed in 2014, two years after Jordan’s death, to honor Jordan but also to fight the stigma associated with depression and suicide. The Bring the Conversation to Light luncheon was established as a fundraising event, but also to talk about depression and suicide with hope. The luncheon was and continues to be a safe space, a place where people can feel comfortable talking about and sharing their experiences and to Bring the Conversation to Light.
